Product Pipeline
1) Amniotic Tissues
Amniotic Tissues have been used in the following cases for more than a century:
- Spinal Surgery – Reduce scarring, and fibrosis. Reduce risk of nerve entrapment. In animal models it has been shown to amplify bone healing.
- Neuro Surgery – Treat chronic neuritis, and pain.
- Orthopedic Surgery – Augment tendon, fasciae, ligament and capsule repair. Injectable through a 22g needle for use in synovial injuries, injured chondral surfaces, chronic tendinopathies, tendinosis, and chronic fasciosis.
- General Surgery – Reduce scar formation and adhesions, augment tissue repair.
- Wound Specialists – Excellent intradermal peri wound therapy, provides a healthy anti-microbial, regenerative wound environment. Balances the wound environment, contributing to angiogenesis.
- Burn Specialists – Excellent topical wound therapy as anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and reduce scarring. Can be applied topically or subcutaneously.
- Plastic Surgery – Reduce scarring, fibrosis, adhesions, provide a tissue barrier supplement to name a few types of uses in this wide ranging specialty.
- Dental Surgery – Post procedure intralesional gum injection to promote tissue regeneration, potential to resolve gum insufficiency.
HC Biologics Amniotic Fluid
HC Biologics Amniotic Fluid is a human amniotic tissue allograft containing cellular components, cytokines, growth factors and extracellular matrix proteins that are naturally found in native amniotic tissue.
Key growth factors found in amniotic tissue allografts include: Fibroblast Growth Factor (FGF) Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) Platelet Derived Growth Factor (PDGF) A & B Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) Transforming Growth Factor beta (TGFβ) Extracellular matrix elements found in amniotic tissue allografts include: Collagen Types I, III, IV, V and VII Laminin Fibronectin Tissue Inhibitors of Metalloproteinases (TIMPs) Proteoglycans Hyaluronic Acid
HC Biologics Cryopreserved Amniotic Membrane and Hydromembrane
HC Biologics Cryopreserved Amniotic Membrane and Hydromembrane are human allograft processed from healthy placental tissue. Placental tissue and membrane is known to contain collagen substrates, growth factors and extracellular matrix proteins recognized as part of the complex wound healing process.
It is recommended that membranes be stored in a clean, dry environment at ambient temperature until the expiration date shown on allograft label. However, the product may be refrigerated.
Allograft may be sutured, glued, or simply positioned based on clinician preference. Membranes may be trimmed to desired size and shape.
2) Graft Delivery Systems
HC-Precision
HC-Precision Graft Delivery System
HC-Precision Graft Delivery System is designed for targeted delivery of hydrated allograft, autograft, or synthetic bone graft materials to an orthopedic surgical site, while maximizing material utilization. Available in vented and non-vented configurations, all devices are 15cc. Graft materials not included.
MAXIMIZE MATERIAL UTILIZATION
INTEGRATED STYLET
Maximizes material utilization and simplifies delivery with an all-in-one configuration
Minimizes packaging size for easier storage
VENTED & NON-VENTED OPTIONS
Vented Configuration
Vents air for better saturation and hydration of materials
Non-Vented Configuration
Allows for pre-filling of materials when hydration is not required
TAPERED CAP & WIDE BORE CANNULA
Allows for the extrusion of high viscosity bone materials
EASY OPERATION
Multiple cannula options (5cm, 10cm, 15cm) allow for delivery of graft materials to targeted surgical sites
Available female luer adapter connects directly with a standard syringe for easy hydration (OP vented versions only)
Optional hydration tube evenly distributes liquids into material for consistent hydration
Large finger flanges allow for a better grip and is designed for one-handed ease-of-use

HC-Rapid
HC-Rapid Graft Delivery System
HC-Rapid Graft Delivery System is designed to hydrate allograft, autograft or synthetic bone graft materials and deliver to an orthopedic surgical site. This system is easy to assemble and facilitates the premixing of bone graft materials with intravenous fluids, blood, plasma concentrate, platelet rich plasma, bone marrow, and others.
FILL
Allows simple integration of graft material and hydration fluid
Unique tray with funnel for conveniently filling barrel with graft material
15cc barrel allows for creation of small or large logs based on procedure
HYDRATE
Patented, vented membrane releases air during hydration, eliminating air pockets and improving saturation of material
Female luer on distal end for simple connection to hydration syringe
DELIVER
Removable threaded cap maximizes graft utilization and allows for easy delivery of graft log
Large finger flanges for better grip when expressing graft
HC-Rapid Graft Delivery System is designed to hydrate allograft, autograft or synthetic bone graft materials and deliver to an orthopedic surgical site. This system is easy to assemble and facilitates the premixing of bone graft materials with intravenous fluids, blood, plasma concentrate, platelet rich plasma, bone marrow, and others.
3) Percutaneous Discectomy Probe
HC-DISKOM
Annular integrity is maintained
Rapid rehabilitation
Procedure takes 15 to 30 minutes
Valuable disc material removal
Material could be used for disc biopsy
Usable in lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine position

4) Adhession Barriers
HC-GelShield
HC-GelShield is a transparent, highly viscous barrier gel used to prevent or reduce the incidence, extent and severity of postoperative after various surgical procedures, such as tendon, carpal tunnel, peripheral nerve or joint surgery.
HC-GelShield is intended to serve as a temporary, absorbable mechanical barrier separating surgically traumatized opposing tissue surfaces.
HC-FilmShield
HC-FilmShield is a bioresorbable, transparent adhesion barrier film which is used as a temporary physical barrier to separate opposing tissues to prevent the ingrowth of scar tissues and the formation or reformation of adhesions.
HC-FilmShield is used to promote the formation of a surgical dissection plane to include the following anatomic regions:
- Peritoneum, peritoneal cavity, bowels, cecum, organs
- Ob/Gyn (e.g. female pelvic, reproductive organs, ovaries, uterus, uterine tube, etc.)
- Orthopedic soft tissues (tendons, ligaments, peripheral nerves, fascial connective tissues)
- Pericardium, epicardium and retrosternal.
