A resorbable extracellular matrix manufactured from processed porcine mesothelial tissue. It serves as a temporary biological scaffold to support soft-tissue healing and reconstruction. Its architecture permits host-cell infiltration and deposition of new matrix during remodeling. Processing is intended to reduce components capable of triggering an immune response, but it does not eliminate the possibility of reaction, infection, or other complications.

Biocompatibility and gradual resorption provide support during a critical phase of regeneration and allow progressive integration with recipient tissue. The specific indication, orientation, fixation method, hydration requirements, and implant handling must be confirmed in the instructions for use of the exact reference and assessed in light of wound condition and patient factors.
